COURT STREET CELEBRATION is acknowledging the three-year anniversary of the Court Street area in SLO: July 26: Summer Sounds on the Terrace with Dan Wilson from 12:30-2:30pm. Info: 543-0200.

ARROYO GRANDE CRUISE NIGHT AND CAR SHOW takes place July 25-26 in the Village. East Grand Avenue merchants have planned a variety of complementary events. A showing of the movie Cars will take place on a large outdoor screen at the Rabobank parking lot after the cruise - 1026 East Grand. There will be a barbecue in the Spencer’s Fresh Market parking lot at the corner of Courtland and East Grand (Applebee’s shopping center). Root-beer floats will be available at the Heritage Oaks Bank parking lot at 1255 East Grand. STORIES ‘ROUND THE FIRE will be told at 7pm on Cayucos Beach, south of the pier on July 26 and Aug. 9, 16, and 23. These family-oriented storytelling performances feature storyteller Kirk Henning, with guest storytellers and musicians. A traditional marshmallow roast around the campfire is included. Suggested donation is $3.
